WhatsApp for iPhone is updated. Much like what happened with Android, Whatsapp can still be downloaded for free, but you’ll pay an annual fee of to use it. Don’t worry if you already have it installed, you’ll never have to pay the annual fee. And now, thanks to iCloud, the app lets you backup and save your conversations.

Google Maps 2.0 arrives on iOS. Google finally debuted the iPad version of its most famous maps application. As if that wasn’t enough, Maps 2.0 also includes the all-new design that Google introduced last month at Google I / O.

CatSelfie is the surprise of the week. No more spending hours taking photos of your cat- now he can do it himself. The app works with a glowing light that appears on your screen. When your cat touches it, he activates the front camera of your iPhone or iPad and – voila! – your cat will have taken his first selfie! But don’t rely on his photography skills!

Angry Birds: Star Wars 2 announced. The game has two exciting new features. The first: the new birds and levels are inspired by the Star Wars prequels. The second: you can change your angry birds into Star Wars characters, just like Skylanders! Angry Birds: Star Wars 2 will be released for iOS and Android on September 19.
